These terms apply to every quotation issued and every commission accepted by Dogly Craftworks Sdn Bhd (Reg. No. 202301045218 (1552847-T)), and to your use of the website at dogly.pro. Placing a deposit constitutes acceptance of these terms. They are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
1. Quotations and drawings
Quotations are valid for thirty days and itemise timber species, finish system, upholstery grade and delivery. A commission begins only when you approve the dimensioned drawing in writing; the approved drawing then forms part of the contract. Changes requested after approval are quoted separately and may extend the timeline.
2. Deposits and payment
Residential commissions require a fifty percent deposit before materials are ordered, with the balance due on completion and before delivery. Commercial fitouts follow the milestone schedule stated in the contract. Payment is by bank transfer to the account named on our invoice; we never notify changes of bank details by phone or messaging — verify in person or via [email protected] if you receive such a message.
3. Lead times
Quoted lead times begin at drawing approval and receipt of deposit, whichever is later. Natural materials occasionally misbehave — where a defect is found during quality control we will tell you the same day and give a revised delivery date. Delays notified this way do not constitute breach, but if delivery slips more than thirty days beyond the quoted window for reasons within our control, you may cancel and receive your deposit back in full.
4. Natural material variation
Wood grain, colour and figure vary from board to board and from any showroom sample or photograph. Such variation, along with minor movement in solid timber across seasons, is a property of the material and not a defect. Live-edge pieces are sold with their natural character — voids, checks and bark inclusions are stabilised, not concealed.
5. Delivery and installation
Our team delivers and installs throughout Peninsular Malaysia; East Malaysia deliveries travel by crated sea freight with a nominated forwarder. You are responsible for confirming that the piece fits through access routes, unless we have conducted a site survey — in which case that responsibility is ours. Risk passes to you on completed installation, or on handover to the forwarder for East Malaysia deliveries.
6. Warranty
Residential pieces carry a five-year structural warranty on frames and joinery and a one-year warranty on upholstery, finishes and hardware. Commercial pieces carry a three-year structural warranty under normal trading use. The warranty covers repair or, at our discretion, replacement. It excludes fair wear, misuse, outdoor exposure of indoor pieces, alterations by others and damage from standing liquids or heat. Full warranty terms are supplied with each delivery. This warranty is additional to, and does not limit, your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.

8. Website content
Text, photographs and drawings on this site are the property of Dogly Craftworks Sdn Bhd and may not be reproduced commercially without written permission. Product photographs show commissioned pieces; your piece will be built to your approved drawing and may differ from photographs.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law. Otherwise our aggregate liability for any commission is limited to the price paid for that commission.
