This policy explains how Dogly Craftworks Sdn Bhd (“Dogly Craftworks,” “we,” “us”) handles personal data collected through the website at dogly.pro and in the course of our furniture business. We process personal data in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
1. What we collect
We collect only what the work requires:
- Enquiry details — your name, email address, phone number and the description of the piece you send through our contact form, by email or over WhatsApp.
- Commission records — delivery address, site measurements, payment records and correspondence relating to an order.
- Website data — basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, where you have consented to analytics cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
2. Why we collect it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare drawings and quotations.
- To perform a contract: building, delivering and installing your commission, and honouring the warranty afterwards.
- To meet legal obligations, including tax and accounting record-keeping.
- To improve the website, where you have consented to analytics.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making, we do not sell it, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have explicitly asked to receive updates.
3. Who sees your data
Access is limited to the small team that needs it: the project lead on your commission, our office administrator and, where delivery is outsourced for East Malaysia, the freight forwarder handling your crate (who receives only your name, phone number and delivery address). Our website hosting provider stores form submissions on servers on our behalf. All third parties are bound to confidentiality.
4. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become commissions are deleted after twenty-four months. Commission records are kept for seven years to satisfy warranty and statutory accounting requirements, then destroyed.
5. Security
Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection. Commission records are stored in access-controlled systems, and paper drawings are kept at the workshop, which is alarmed and access-controlled outside working hours.
6. Your rights
Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent to further processing (which may mean we cannot proceed with a commission). Write to [email protected] or post to the address below and we will respond within twenty-one days.

8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the revised version appears on this page with a new revision date. Material changes affecting active commissions are communicated directly.
